I was actually quite impressed. It has been a very long time since I have heard such an eloquent denoucement of authority through a mainstream media outlet. Yes, what we need is righteous fervor and controversy! Vive la France!

Yes even we, the "middle class backbone of life and all that is good"...as I like to refer to ourselves, sup upon Keith O. for stability and a good daily laugh. Thanks for the post! Carrie I miss you!!!! cb
Right on MSNBC!!! While you're at it, how about taking a swing at his Supreme Court. Bush's days are numbered, but his women-hating, racist nominees will be making supremely dubious decisions that impoverish our hypothetical future children's lives as well as our own (and hell, our freakin' grandmas' too).
okay okay, but then there IS the new executive order. Shit, even Reagan's Assistant Secretary of the Treasury is calling for impeachment (http://www.counterpunch.org/roberts07162007.html). I'm just so distraught about the Supreme Court's recent spate of wildly unjust rulings that I can't think straight. I guess I expect bullshit from career politicians, but after a lifetime of a Supreme Court that felt, um, well, mostly just (thank you, Justice O'Connor)... I am feeling acutely betrayed in a way an instiution I never had much faith in, like, say, the executive branch could never have betrayed me.
wow, that is absolutely astounding. thanks for posting the article. it's amazing how this administration really is going to screw our lives (especially those of women) long long long into the future. its like being in a time warp.
