I can't believe anyone would make herself sound so bigoted and unreasonable in defending a point she truly believes in. This almost sounds like a parody. You know the clencher? Maybe people would listen to these ideas if they weren't stated in such a mindless, dogmatic way. This person is clearly suffering from a severe case of verbal diarrhea.

She wants to make the point thats it's ridiculous how people get so wrapped up in civil liberties when human lives are at stake? Fine. In some cases, I certainly agree. You're certainly not going to see me defending Cindy Sheehan anytime soon. However, this argument extends far beyond such reasonable considerations and into the category of blatant racism. Her use of holy books to represent the West (all good guys) and the Muslims (all apparently terrorists) completely discredits her little diatribe, even the small kernels of truth. This type of extremist bullshit makes me ashamed to be a member of the human race.

What angers me the most (although the entire thing is infuriating) is the complete lack of knowledge, empathy, and any sense of decency concerning the Muslim religion. To call flushing the Koran down a toliet in front of a prisioner getting "it wet" shows the level of propaganda this woman is spewing. The very notion that some theocratic country's unfair practices concerning Christianity somehow legitimize our own injustices is maddening. And as Caroline said, her horribly false association of the Bible equaling good free westerners, and the Koran equaling fanatic zealots is, well, retarded
