Scott and I saw Mr. Brooks yesterday and guess what? It's actually good. Very solid performances, Kevin Costner and William Hurt are great together. And Dane Cook? Didn't hit it out of the park, but he didn't annoy the shit out of me either, so I consider that progress. Definitely a decent matinee if you're looking for something to do.
I'm really torn about the Mr. Brooks. Everyone in it at one time or another has done stuff I really loved and also done stuff that made me want to smother them with a pillow. You were right about Children of Men though... I think I'll wait to rent it.
