i highly recommend incubus. pre-star trek william shatner, cinematography by conrad hall, and, best of all -- it's entirely in esperanto (the only movie ever made in that language). it's bad, yet good, yet terribly, terribly bad.

This is right exactly the kind of thing I'm looking for. I haven't seen it! But I've always really wanted to check it out. Good one!

Now THAT'S a list. I want to see all of those. I've already seen Jimmy Dean, Jimmy Dean just on principle. The rest of these I've never seen (some I've never even heard of) and they all look positively awesome. Chris Makepiece in Vamp? I didn't think he made any movies other than My Bodyguard! Good one. And you know any movie about a farting contest is totally going to get my attention!

Thanks!

May I recommend Nashville and The Last Picture Show for your 1970s category if you haven't seen them yet?

We semi-do a weekly thing called Trashy Movie Night. We've seen some beautiful stinkers. Personally I like the Y2K/Satan anxiety movies, like Lost Souls and Stigmata.

Have you seen Mahogany? I got really mad when my DVD was stolen.

I still submit that the worst movie I've ever seen is Howard the Duck.

In my reviewing days, I also saw a lot of just-plain-bad movies, like Boat Trip, starring Cuba Gooding, Jr. The Island. The Pacifier. Little Man. Just bad movies.

I have not a clue what it's about just that I love both of the lead actors (flawlessly gorgeous from top to bottom and SO good) and it's set in a time period I really dig that you don't usually see Asians portrayed in any sort of real way in. So yeah, I'm stoked.

I haven't seen either Nashville or The Last Picture Show. I'm not sure why. It's like a mental block or something. I've never heard anything but rave reviews for both of them and I know they're "important" but they look really boring to me.

But I said I'd take all suggestions and I will stand by that promise.

You will not, however, get me to watch Boat Trip. I sat through The Island (such a beautiful cast! such a terrible movie!) I'd watch The Pacifier. The same way I'd watch The Game Plan. Little Man made me scream and run away from the previews I found it so disturbing. I'll try it. Can I trade out Little Man for White Chicks? Just to avoid nightmares about babies with giant Marlon Wayans heads?
