Last night Chris and I went to a lovely steakhouse for dinner. We had steaks with garlic mashed and creamed spinach and wine and creme brulee.

And when we got home, I promptly threw up.

*sigh*

Some of us are not meant for posh food.

I think it speaks highly of your character and shows that you are well-rounded that you can be equally happy doing solo things or fun group things. As long as you are enjoying yourself, that is all that matters! What are 'Christmas lectures'? And my dear, you are hardly and old spinster just for being a creature of habit. Besides, if you're an old spinster, then that must mean I'm 973 years old and decrepit; neither of which, I assure you, I am ;)
