For creepy/thriller/fun/thinking books, try the Pendergast stuff by Preston and Child (Brimstone/Dance of Death/The Book of the Dead are a trilogy, and Cabinet of Curiosities, Still Life with Crows, Relic, and Reliquary are other Pendergast novels). For historical fiction, try Empress Orchid and anything by Philippa Gregory. Fantasy: anything from the Dune Saga, and anything by Eddings.

...yeah. I'm silly.

Pretty much anything with Terry Pratchett's name attached. Soul Music and Moving Pictures are particularly fun.

Yes! I've read The Color of Magic and begun The Light Fantastic, and they were both awesome. I have Soul Music, too . . . So I'll add that to the list. :)

"Books books books" reminded me of "boots boots boots." Anyway.

I friggin' love The Bell Jar. Read it right now.

And I know you hated the beginning of Lovely Bones, but the rest is so much better/less bloody.

I shall bullet my other selections, for I am lazy.

Becky's List of Books that Amy Should Read:
+White Oleander
+High Fidelity
+Their Eyes Were Watching God
+The Wasteland (it's a poem, but you should read it anyway)
+Anything by Jodi Picoult (more specifically: My Sister's Keeper and The Pact)
+Divine Secrets of the Ya-Ya Sisterhood
+and...I can't think of anymore.

Haha, boots boots boots. What a weird thing. I hope they find more funny song titles! They should have a concert where they only play songs with weird-ass titles.

Yesss, books. And TS Eliot. God, I love that guy.

Gracias para las sugerencias!
