Shinsengumi play

So I heard that last year the seniors did a play based on the Shinsengumi. In french. I SO WANTED TO SEE IT. Nevermind it would have been in french and I wouldn't have been able to understand half of it, but still. Apparently there was a girl who took kendo lessons, and lent everyone real hakamas and bokutous. How could would that have looked!? A
