I use some weird
I use a menstrual cup. I use a mooncup. Other friends of mine use keepers they're worn internally (like tampons). It fills up with my menstrual blood. Every so often I look at how much is in it, empty it into the toilet, often I wash it out, and at the end of each period I sterilise it. I graph my periods and since I started using ( Read more... )

The Keeper is natural latex, which combines with its thicker wall structure to make it quite a bit firmer than the silicon Mooncup. It's also a bit narrower for the equivalent sizing. My experience is that the Keeper is more secure - I've only ever got it to leak once, and that when I was seriously pushing its capacity - but it's also less comfortable, it seems harder to give a thorough clean, and it's harder to get the stalk trimmed and smoothed so it sits comfortably ( ... )
