That news about Rehnquist...I give up. I thought that since the media was actually doing their job and jumping on the mistakes made by Bush, Chertoff, Brown, & Co., maybe there was some hope for this country.

The tiniest bit of silver lining I can come up with is that Bush's approval this week is going to be, like, 8%. And as the stories keep coming out about the pause in search & rescue while Bush choppered around, etc., his approval rating is likely to remain pretty low. Sure, his allies will rally, but they'll watch the numbers, and if they're truly very low, he won't be able to push through a total psycho. ::weak smile::
