It's been only a few weeks since Victor has returned to work, and so far Clark hasn't pressed her. Victor answers the door like a civilized gentleman, and now that her body isn't firing pain-pain-pain at her all of the time, her mind is free to think new thoughts. She can say whole sentences without having to catch her breath. She has materials piled into the middle of her floor in boxes.

She cocks her head to the side, gesturing him in wordlessly.

He enters, giving her a nod. "I see you've been busy," he says, gaze flicking towards those piled-up boxes.

"I wanted to get prepared," she says, casually hefting an ax, grabbing a pulley, nudging the door shut with her foot.

"I can't argue with that." Indeed, he finds that being well-prepared is often key to a good strategy. "I had to remove several of your traps before the cleaning team came in, but I'm not certain if you want the same ones again."
