Is it just me, but are the only responses friends have to bad news is anger.

If I find out that I dont' have a job, I am upset, and i express that to friends of mine that dont' get what they want (aka. bad news), but every person that has a response to me being a waste of life is

"How dare they"
"What the Fuck"
"those Assholes"
