We have a drip. In the third-floor ceiling.

Well, now we have a hole.

It looks like a bucket under it will suffice for now, but no idea what'll happen as the storm comes closer!

Yikes, that's no good. I hope it doesn't get any worse tonight. Let us know if we can help in any way. *hugs*

It looks pretty low key. We've got a bucket in place but I think we'll barely need it if the wind stays at sane levels.

Interesting. It was about this time last year when I felt the drip drip while in the bathroom. Turned out a 2 inch hole had been burned in the roof by leaves. Replaced roof, replaced one board, no problems in this hurricane.

Might be something simple as a knocked out shingle, can be replaced without doing the whole roof pretty easily.

Is there a crawl space accessible up there above the hole? Sometimes you can just put a tarp up there to allay the drip until the storm is over, and sometimes the tarp will just keep the water from ever bothering you again. Sometimes you might need a drip pan to catch the water, cheap aluminum lasagna/serving trays from costco work great for that cause. Ask me sometime how I know :)

Holy wetvac, Batman!

I hope it's just a little leak and not anything major.
