zhiheng may or may not need the french rev; he's going to france (did i mention this?) on a psc and he needs to take a placement test on european history, he says.
oh, but surely he would not progress so far, he'd be asking Awkward Questions about the Mechanics of it all and I don't think one usually stops to explain things slowly and carefully in those types of situations. :D

yes, they certainly are. and you are on LJ now! how wonderful. have friended you.
the annotation in R&J is just pink highlighting. absolutely nothing else, as per S paper open text regulations.
we will meetup for the transaction oh yes we will. week of 1-8 july? can meet you wherever's convenient for you, and we can have tea or something depending on your schedule.
(screened comment because the world doesn't need your number, just me)
actually, the mechanics of that aren't too hard to understand. it'll just resemble a cyclic compound, except with only 3 atoms instead of the usual and most stable 6 as in benzene. but steric hindrance causes tension resulting in a high energy level, therefore disintegration is favoured. after i explain this to them, they'll just go "ah, oui oui". then they'll shrug and resignedly sigh, "c'est la vie". and then i'll know that the singaporean intelligence that nature agrees has triumphed. yay.
and actually, i don't think i need to know about the french rev. not if it's before 1914 actually. and the french rev was quite a while back wasn't it? in fact, i do think it's positively ancient. oh wait. i just checked. and it's around 1800. so i guess i won't need it.
plus, i've just swatted a mosquito. and i've disrupted ns. yay. today is a happy day.
