I got the Nirvana's box set Tuesday. 68 unreleased songs. God, I love it. I've downloaded a lot of these tracks, but these versions are so good. Remastered. It's so cool. It also comes with a DVD. If it makes you feel any better, I'm a closet Pumpkins fan. Like, hugely. All the B sides, the box set, the sitting-in-your-room-playing-the-CDs-over-and-over-again-to-memorize-the-lyrics days. Writing fan letters to Billy with a knee-high pile next to you of crumpled-up failed previous attempts. This all started six years ago. My devotion has since faded, but is still there, in it's own closeted way.

lol...wow, Claude, in the course of a comment you have become one of my new favorite friends.
The Superman history was great. Lovin' it. But, our first kid is going to be named Tristan ___, after Brad Pitt's character in Legend of the Falls. First girl will be Ivy Violet. Ivy for intelligence, and Violet for the V name -- Veronica is slowly beoming a common name in my family.
I hadn't heard about the poetry book, I only just recently finally checked back with Billy's blog, but didn't see any mention of it in my quick skim-through. Ahh, to be out of the loop.

Horray I'm a favorite friend! I've never seen Legend of the Falls, what's that about? Yeah, Billy's been doing book signings all over the country. A friend of mine went to one of his in New York.

Hell yeah man! I gotta Get that Boxed set. Ive heard just about all of the stuff on it already, but i gotta get it. Nirvana was like my favorite band. I hate pearl jam with a passion. I'm growin my hair long too bro. Gonna keep bleachin it.

Yeah me too, but it's remastered so it's better. I love Pearl Jam though. Why do you hate them so? I always thought you looked better with long hair. What's your natural color any way?

I just dont like eddie vedders voice. i think hes the one responsible for bands like creed. Plus it just seems so one demensional. and i suppose i just hated how poeple tried to classify pearl jam as grunge because im tellin you its not. jesus lizard, and nirvana the melvins shit like that. thats grunge. not pearl jam. i think poeple just say that because they were from seattle and they were an alternative band when nirvana was around.
