I've never seen An Inconvenient Truth, but I know enough about it and the press that came from it to wonder if the 2000 election would've turned out differently if 2000 Gore had been replaced with post-Inconvenient Truth Gore. heh ;p

Also, I feel your pain with the not affording to go home for the holidays. I still haven't been able to find a job and am living off the meager funds I have left from when I used to have a job. At this point I can't really do much else besides pay rent, utilities and sometimes eat NOT ramen noodles. e.e So, yeah... *sends you love and stress-free thoughts*

It definitely did make me wonder how things would be different now if Bush hadn't stolen Florida. Good luck on the job hunt. I think job hunting and apartment hunting are some of the worst things ever. *hugz and good wishes* All my blessings.

You read my blog and don't know I'm on tour with Phoenix? They are putting out Spelling Bee this year, as well as PJGame. There's also TROIKA, who often has several tours out, plus TheatreWorks (altho they usually use their actors to double as crew) and if you join the Union, you should be able to get IATSE work through anyone. There's no reason for you to struggle financially- touring may be a great idea for you!

Well I knew you were on tour obviously, but couldn't remember the name of your company. Is it Phoenix Theatre group? And I don't know about IATSE. I don't think I have the skills to join. I really don't know much about anything other than lighting and even that isn't a lot. I want to get back into Stage Managing. Thanks for the other company names! You're the bestest!!!
