Some days I hate being a server

Last night was dreadfully slow the first couple hours then after the first cut had been made, we got slammed. I wasn't totally with it to begin with last night anyway but getting double sat constantly in a 6 table section totally drained my mental energy...and I forgot a kid's birthday. This really cool, talkative 9 year old boy and his grandma

That sucks so bad, I wish the grandma had said something to you. I can understand that she would be disappointed if she had reminded you it was his birthday, but that sucks so bad. *hugs* I've done that before too as a server, its hard when you are slammed to remembers tuff like that.
