Tomorrow I shall hear back from a job I already know I'm not getting, but I can't help but feel wistuflly hopeful about it. Not so much that maybe I actually *did* get the job, but maybe tomorrow I'll wake up in a world where I didnt totally fall down completely flat on my face at the first hurdle

Ack, that's unfortunate. Those are some really weird, left field questions, but augh, it's a horrible feeling to trip up that badly.

yeah, I moped about it for a full week, but I'm feeling better now. I can only keep trying. Although I am a bit miffed that they still hadn't gotten back to me. It was pretty clear they weren't going to hire me, at least they could give me the courtesy of a 'no', even if their chosen candidate is dragging things out, because even if they get turned down, I'm pretty clearly not in line.
