Finished way ahead of time...

Which for me is something instead of frantic sewing the night before an event. So the results:

For your next project I would recommend an apron - these can be simple or fancy, just depends on how much sewing you want to do. Alternatively there are gollars that you may want for warmth at some of the events we do (like my little red jacket). We can talk shop out at the SRS event.

Also - don’t forget that we need to get on those ‘Bohemian Bathhouse Babe’ ‘stumes! *grin*

I had actually started on an apron because I need things to do with.my.hands. ack! - but got completely frustrated with the gathered honeycomb pattern (I NEED the gathers to be even damnit) so I may iron the pleats in then stitch the honeycomb pattern.

I have picked up some extra linen for the bathhouse babes plan. I did however get to window shop some extraordinary fabric at a friend's house yesterday with lots of costuming ladies and after drooling at silk taffeta and contemplating 18th century frocks. I think I may need to start on foundation garments before I do anything however.
