The ironic part about owning GM is that I've never purchased, nor do ever intend to purchase, a GM product. Although, I wonder what kind of deals they'll make for a shareholder?

And, Souter technically didn't make a racist comment because if she had it to do over again she would say something else. Biden gets do overs all the time.

FOR REALZ. HOW the hell does an A330-200 just go poof!? That spazzed me out a little last night to say the least as well. But AC runs the 777-300 or 200ER series planes. So until Boeings start going off the radar...I'll spazz a little less.

LOL...but seriously. How can a plane txmt maintenance messages to Air France but not tell them it's fucking going down!??! LOL

I don't really see her as being especially liberal OR conservative. She seems extremely "letter of the law" and all about fairness...at least in her decisions. Hell I know plenty of liberal and conservative judges who are adept at putting aside their personal politics when writing a judgment.

While I would love another John Paul Stevens I'll be happy with just an intelligent and experienced Justice who's a tad bit racist and sexist. (How funny is it that people are so up in arms over it? Many male justices have made similar remarks over the years).

I just hope the conservative elements of the House and Senate don't filibuster. Back in 2006 they said filibustering a judicial nomination was treason. It would be completely asinine to go back on their word just to show a few vocal old men they're cool.

And man, will the Republican party get its act together and stop losing members? This isn't 1993. Newt Gingrich and Rush Limbaugh cannot be the voice of the party.
