If you feel like a victim, then you are.

I know some people like being victims.  Without them, the far left would have no core constituency.  But I cannot figure out why anyone would enjoy that role.

Increasingly, in the last few years, I've run into more than a few of them on LJ, and while we are friends for a brief period, they ultimately stop

I guess that's a bit of a moot point now that LJ seems to be escalating toward a rapid end.
