I'm moving at the start of the next term, earlier if at all possible. I wish I knew. My meeting with the housing office was sort of the disaster. A very nice burecrat told me in his very mild way that moving will be nearly impossible unless I find someone who is moving out of another apartment. My other option is to enter a lottery (the odds of being able to move through the lottery are 5.5%). I'm looking on Craigslist to see about moving elsewhere in the city (I saw a nice listing for an apartment in Flushing- I'm not sure if I mentioned it to you).
