Darkness still clouded the massive city. It was beautiful. Selene liked it here. Old, yet modern. Her feet hit the roof tops making a soft 'tink', like a rain drop falling. She was light on her feet and agile. Nothing like her Lycan cousins.
He needed his space, room to still stretch and be the loner he was. Selene gave that to him, but only so much. With that sword wielding woman on the loose she was not keen on his leaving with out her. Selene knew her heart would not withstand another loss. In her mind she saw that terrifying sword. By no means was she psychic but something about it was sinister, more then just a sword.
When she caught up to him, without getting close enough to be seen or sensed she slowed down. Still she hovered above him on the roofs that made the lovely skyline.

They were watching Logan. But not for long.
The only thing not hidden by the dark fabric covering his body were his eyes. With a snap his neck cracked and broke in her delicate hands. Those eyes that watched her wandering love below went wide as his last breath escaped him. Dragging him into the shadows Selene tucked his lifeless body behind the air conditioning unit on the roof. Before she picked back up on Logan's trail she thoroughly checked the dead man for any clues. Nothing. Well, nothing but a pair of beautiful steel sais', those she was taking.
