Hmmm... as far as I know there's language packs for the clients. I know of at least two furs who bought a German version and are playing in English...

I'm not too sure if a key of a version bought in Spain would work with an English account and / or game software of WoW...

To use the language packs, the entire installation needs to be in the same language, but at the moment it´s been noted that the release of the language packs for Wrath of the Lich King will not take place for at least 2-3 weeks after the game has been released in order to minimise load on their servers.

Also I know that a Spanish code will work with an English version of the game and my game discs for burning crusade and the original wow are English UK ones.
