Well this is a new try at posting from my iPod... Strange as it sounds, I do most of my thinking while lying in bed so this is a handy tool :)

I thought about twitter but am wondering whether it is really useful? Doesn't it do the same job as lj if you have a quick app like this except with the ability to add much longer posts?

Actually, it's not that strange at all. I use the app as well. Comes in handy when I need to write down a little bit of rage while at work. As for Twitter, it's only useful if you're posting to it via texting tweets from a cell phone or have an iPhone.

But you can do exactly the same with LJ using a phone app?

Yeah. The same LJ app that you have on your iPod will work the same way if you happened to have an iPhone. Only that would work on both WiFi or anywhere else you got a cell signal. Using it on the iPod is a lot more limited in where you can post from, unless you love warwalking to look for WiFi. But it is a whole lot cheaper than getting an iPhone and the plan required for it.
