"Hissing" sounds?

Okay, so... I'm currently listening to ATDW for the first time, and so far... I'm having a really hard time listening to the CD, because all of the "S" sounds (and other soft sounds) are coming out very "hissy" or static-y, like either I'm playing it way too loud (which I'm not), or Clay was right up in the microphone while recording. Clay has always made odd s sounds. A lisp of sorts. You'd think they could fix it somehow, though...

To be honest, I haven't noticed any problems. I brought mine home, burned the CD to my computer, and then put it on my IPod, and it has sounded great. It also sounded excellent through my computer speakers.

It might be your cd. I don't know, cuz I don't have mine yet (*cries*) but I got a cd by The Rasmus once, and the first three tracks sounded like you described. I hope yours isn't defective. :(
