Hi! *wave*

So, I'm a pretty new Clay Aiken fan... I skipped AI season 2 (kicking myself about that now). But I really became a huge fan after On My Way Here came out.

Anyway, just wanted to say hi and post a little something I was thinking about earlier. I was listening to A Thousand Different Ways and started thinking about what covers I would like for him ( Read more... )

Very good list. I think there is a full version of "Don't Let the Sun Go Down on Me" that he sang before AI somewhere. I would also like to hear him record "When Doves Cry" and "Rosanna". He sang those songs on one of the tours and it was great!!

Hello and welcome to this crazy fandom!

Clay has a lot of covers, some of which you may not have heard yet. Do you just have his albums and the Idol performances? He also has demos from his early years with a lot of BEAUTIFUL covers, as well as the numerous live recordings of him on tour.

I have a huge collection and I'd be glad to share some of it with you!

PS -the title of “Nobody Knows What It’s Like To Be the Bad Man” is actually "Behind Blue Eyes". The Who can be a bit ambiguous on song titles. :)

Thank-you!

As for the music, yes, that's about it. If you don't mind, I'd love copies of some of his other work. :^) Like I said, I'm a new fan. On My Way Here was the first album I bought but I didn't really start going crazy for Clay until within the last month or so.

And thanks for the song title correction. I couldn't quite figure out what it was.

That reminds me, I thought of a few more I'd like to have him singing: "Jesse's Girl", "Imagine", and "You Raise Me Up". (Hopefully those are the correct titles. :^P)

I totally understand. I became a fan in May of 2006, when he did that awesome performance at the AI finale. I know what it's like to feel like a brand new fan and trying to catch up with everyone else!

I'm going to go upload some stuff for you. Do you have Gmail? That's usually the easiest way to send music and if you do, drop me an e-mail at adoraheatherly@livejournal.com. If not, I can try to get the stuff uploaded to a file sharing site.

I would also love to hear him sing "Imagine"!

I just got done sending you an email.

You might have to explain to me how everything works, though. I'm not too good with computers... :^(
