Those are really hard to control. Waters has one - which his friend broke and it's been broken since last year. Maybe your helicopter has a problem. You could maybe exchange for a new one and see if it does the same thing.
They sure are. I got it from woot.com, so there's nowhere to exchange it, per se. It wasn't expensive, so when it finally breaks, I'll replace it with one that has automatic stability control. Something like this one, perhaps.
I don't have one exactly like that. Mine is this one, which is a more expensive, more hobby like one.
This one is actually a clone of the one you linked. This first micro helicopter with this design was the picooz, that was available on radio shack. Yours is a clone, just like the one you linked.
It's actually a very good helicopter! You just have to be lucky to get one of the good ones. If you can trim, that's a good start. If you want more forward movement, try adding a small weight to the nose. That should help keep the nose down and moving a bit faster. There are TON of info about these on this forum.
And if ever want to graduate and go to a more serious 4-channel (can do "strafing") micro helicopter, you can try this one. Yeah, I know ... I'm a geek ... I already went from helicopter to planes ...
