and I remember all those late nights, sprawled across your front lawn. Looking up at the black heavens above us, sprinkled with glistening stars shinin down. "Nothing's gunna stop us now", you told me. Oh how I wanted to believe you, as you whispered all those pretty little things into my ear. "You promise me we'll stay like this forever?", I asked. "Forever",you answered back." I promise". We spent that night together. Entwined in each other's arms...and the only thing hovering between us was our love. The moon was our companion as it watched us all through that night. But in the morning it vanished in the blink of an eye...and the sun greet us brightly, but I still longed for our late summer night. That summer is etched into my brain, that summer changed the way I thought about love. That summer I learned that forevers do come and go. But I also learned that I will always have my memroies. My memories of late nights and vast skies. My memories of all those times in your car and all those mixtapes. My memories of my first love and my first broken heart. And that......is unforgettable.
