This is an old entry that I don't think anyone has read.  Firstly it was backdated, then I realised no-one had seen it so I changed the date but that didn't seem to help either.  So now I've deleted it entirely and have cut and pasted it into a new update.  A comment just to tell me that it's registered on your friends' page would be appreciated,

Hi Claire, interesting post. As a Christian, I find it somewhat intriuging sometimes how much individual interpretation you can bring in to a set of apparently definite beliefs. The problem is loads of people interpret things differently even within one set text (and unfortunately some think they have the sole correct interpretation) and faith will always be a deeply personal thing.
"it's hard to be excited when you're confused. But I will be." Good attitude! Hang in there and you'll come through in the end :)In my experience things like courage and confidence build slowly, often by doing something new that intimidates you and then allowing yourself some time to prove to yourself that you can do it.
