Great Expectations
The assignment didn't sound too bad. There was the dinosaur element of course, but Ryan suspected Miss Brown might be pulling his leg about that part.
"You'll be working with scientists. The team leader's a university professor. You just keep them safe."
Ryan could imagine the type. Stuffy old men, almost as fossilised as the things that they studied. The alleged dinosaurs would probably just be a pile of bones. Still, as long as everyone came home safely at the end of the day.
Then he saw the professor's assistant, and suddenly things looked a lot brighter.
Definitely no fossil.
