One Broke Boy
As a child, Becker wanted for nothing at first. Not until his father ruined the family business and went bankrupt.
Within weeks Becker was out of his posh school and installed at the local comprehensive. His old friends were suddenly unavailable and his accent made him an easy target. It was a tough few years.
In retrospect, he knew it was the making of him.
He couldn't see himself sitting behind a desk for the rest of his life, and as he felled a velociraptor that was about to make a meal of a terrified commuter, he didn't regret anything.
