Did it shock you?

Have you been keeping warm, Balthier? Is there anything I can do to help you feel better? You know if you need anything you have only but to ask it of me. I do not mind doing things for you.

Ah, the Chocobos. I must speak to Miss Saber, but I have been attempting to get things in order before we catch them. Food, living space, the sort. Things seem to slowly be moving into place.

Basch?

You can relax. I'm not exactly dying.

Not in the literal sense anyway.

Saber, hm? Who on Ivalice names their child after a sword?

PSH WHO NAMES THEIR CHILD FFAMRAN HUH? XD captain_basch December 3 2008, 04:43:18 UTC
Forgive my over worry then. Still, if there is anything I can do, let me know. I shall do what I can for you.

Aye, Miss Saber. She had another name to go by... but my memory fails me, twas much nicer than Saber I assure you.

OBVIOUSLY CID. WHY DO YOU THINK HE CHANGED IT? NOT THAT 'BALTHIER' WAS THE DOG'S NAME OR ANYTHING clean_cuffs December 3 2008, 04:46:28 UTC
...Basch.

If you apologize one more time I'm sneezing on you.

Seems an odd way to address someone in any case. May as well name them 'broadsword' or 'rapier' while they're at it.

Chocobo? Those big yellow birds? Are they hard to catch? I was able to get pretty close to them.

Yes, yes, and yes.

You must be good with animals I suppose?

I don't know about that, they do have a tendency to come visit me though. And sometimes trample me.

As long as I have known you, Balthier, you have never taken well to confinement; be it in a prison or a sick bed. When I was inflicted with Giza flu, the only treatments were time and warmth. Perhaps the same applies here.

As for the lack of proper nutrition... I have been feeling the effects of that myself.

With regard to the Chocobos, preparations seem to be going well, as Basch said. I have offered to assist with the process of taming.

I'm happy no one else has got it, but the lack of any sort of proper vitamins seems to weaken the immune system.

You've lost a bit of weight I noticed.

I'll help soon as I'm out of bed.

Should your affliction be contagious, it will likely pass on, considering our close quarters. Should you need anything, just let me know. And I mean that, Balthier.

...Oh? My clothing is a little looser than I like it, though it is not an immediate concern.

Not before you're ready. The cold chill lingers in the air.

Indeed, just best not to be around should I start sneezing out the entire contents of my face.

I'll see if I can get more supplies. You didn't exactly have much meat on you to begin with.

I should be up and about soon enough.

I find them rather amusing.

I take it you're more of a cat person then?

Very much so. But I thought pirates were left in the 19th century..?

Perhaps they're a thing of the past in your world, but in Ivalice we're very much a reality.

It's quite an entertaining and lucrative profession. Have you ever considered taking up sky piracy?
