Well now, looks as though we have ourselves a spot of trouble on our hands. How very unexpectedOne thing's for certain, getting close to some of this lot is hardly recommended. Also when I was out hunting, it looked like the Reavers were getting restless again. Just made it out of there with my skin on. My cuffs hardly fared so well, unfortunately ( Read more... )

Simply business as usual. I was wondering when we'd see our next round of swarming ghouls.

Where are you staying, if you don't mind me asking? You seem a bit new to these routine invasions.

Jackie is your landlord then... Good. You've little to worry about if you stick to others, and practice common sense. Carry a bludgeon on you such as a plank of good wood or better, an iron bar of some sort. Something with a bit of heft.

And, I'm sorry to say, it was the quiet that was unusual for this place. Normally something is either exploding, going on a murderous rampage, or messing with people one way or another.

Are you alright?

Fire and cure, you say? [Have some panting, Riful's been fighting.]

...does it have to be magic? Can you just light them on fire?

[Audio] He tries XD Frankly he's as worried as anyone else. clean_cuffs September 15 2009, 20:11:19 UTC
...Generally the point of fire magicks are to set things on fire. But if you have other means, by all means, bring them to light in every meaning of the term.

Ah, well, I'm chipped and even if I weren't, there's no magic in my world.

[Sigh] ...then I suppose I'll have to see what I can do with wires and stoves, if I can get off the streets.

Good luck to you. Will you need an escort in getting out of harms way?

[Have the sound of someone trying to catch his breath.]

The Reavers are definitely acting up. I manage to trap some in a pit in the woods to the south, I don't know how long they'll stay trapped though.

Thought as much. There were more of them about than there have been lately. These beasts going quiet is never a good sign.

*out of breath*

Well, at least someone here is military-minded, I see. But what I need to know is whether a sword is good enough for these or I should keep running...

Word to the wise, if I hear the words military-minded out of your mouth in such context again, believe me I'll show you what a right bastard I can be. I'm no man's soldier, and I pledge fealty to none.

As for these creatures, were I a man of the sword, I'd put the blade on the deformed nurses. A clean slice to the neck has them out of commission rather quickly. The others... exercise caution. I think they have a particular strand of rigor mortis which is catching when they scream.

Now's not the time to be babbling about loyalties. The information will be enough, thanks.

Then don't hurl about accusations that I'm some sort of soldier. But you're welcome.

And take care. The undead are usually slow, but they're persistent and have a tendency to creep up on you in droves. Have you someone to watch your back?

Even so, Prydain. If you find things becoming difficult...

I know Gohl has suffered its share of damages. I trust you know what you're doing though.
