I was driving back to the apartment after clinical today and saw an anti-abortion poster on the side a delivery truck. The truck had a picture of a 1st trimester bloody fetus on both sides of the trailer. Next to the fetus was some common anti-abortion phrase and the URL www.abortionno.org. I'm pro-choice. Personally, I'm against abortion, but I don't believe in laws that force my beliefs on others.

Wario Ware is worth it for Dr. Wario alone. So the fact that there's so much more to it is great.

Personally, I like the picture of the unborn fetus about to be given surgery while still in the mother's opened womb, and the unborn baby grasps the doctors finger just as an infant would. That's the clincher for me- if I hadn't already made up my mind before. I'm pro-life in all cases except the mother's health.

...and actually, even then I think it should be a matter of fate as to whether one or both live. A loving mother would gladly give up her life for her child.

I don't see how you could make a blanket statement like that for such a complex issue. I think you'd have a different opinion if the issue had a face to you. It's easy to take these idealistic stands when you're so far removed from the reality of the issues. You tend to look at things differently when you know someone who has experienced these things firsthand.

I can never support an idea that forces other people to make important decisions that will have an effect on the rest of their lives just because it goes along with my own personal beliefs. What say should I have in a matter that has no effect on my life?

I'm just saying that any loving mother who wasn't completely selfish and self absorbed would gladly give her life for her child. Any mother who just decides to abort her baby because it isn't convenient for her is guilty of premeditated murder.
