Weekend Goals and Long Term Lists

Sep 11, 2009 16:23

The weekend is almost here! I find I'm the most productive on the weekend when I set a few obtainable goals. I usually keep a list of "around the house" goals on the fridge. I don't get them all done at once, but if I have some time on the weekend, I can look at the list and go, "what can I accomplish today?" Then, when it's done, and I can mark it ( Read more... )

I just love mine. Usually after I trip I hang it back up in the bathroom and slowly use out of it if I run out of anything and am too lazy to run out to get more.

I do a quick inventory before any trip and then hit up the tavel section at Wal-Mart to replace anything that has not found it's way back into the bag.

Right now I am trying to sit down and make out all my lists. I break my room down into sections and make lists of things to do in each section and also make list for anything else in the house that I take care of. Then I make a master list each day of things to do on which I try to write one thing from each of the other lists to do for that day. Probably the long complicated way to do it, but so far it's worked for me.

My list looks similar for today, though I also have to add, air out and wash/clean all the stuff we packed up in the rain yesterday. . . yuck!

The bathroom bag is a great idea. Since our camping list seems to be mostly the same for every trip, I'm even thinking about making a master list and possibly even packing up certain things as I put them away for that grab and go effect. Especially since trips often need to be planned by the weather and you don't always know until a few days ahead what it's going to do there.
