Wow, Jana, you really should be writing for mass consumption. This was extremely well done, and the message very poignant.

Please tell me you'll write a book! :)

Someone once said that as we get older we begin to take on the characteristics of where we're going. IOW, we get better or worse. And time becomes less important, as we're getting tooled up for the frequency domain.

Thanks. This is about my dad's mom. I wrote it for him for his birthday a couple of years ago. I honestly cannot imagine anyone wanting to read it but my family. All my grandparents were so special to me and I had moments with each of them that helped define me as a person spiritually and otherwise. My parents wise and wonderful, and we have an incredible relationship with them. My boys are crazy about them ( ... )

No, this was absolutely top quality. I wish you would begin to compile your writings in a file. This, for instance, could have been submitted somewhere, either online or on paper, as a Mother's Day vignette. I don't know how to say I'm not exaggerating or flattering you.

But then, it's all contingent on how the Lord is leading you. He has his plans and His seasons for each of us, and messing with them is the last thing I need to be doing.

Still, the gifting is there.

You're blessed to have had such a wonderful family. Much of my difficulties have been getting past my experience, to where I can see God's good hand operative in my life. Ultimately, though, that was my responsibility and problem, not theirs.

Thank you!

The encouragement is appreciated and needed actually. I have been blown off before when I thought something was good, and then complimented when I thought something was not that great. I really need honest constructive criticism.

I love this piece because the moment was so special to me.

I do not think you are messing with God's leading. I think you are helping get a message through to a very scared little girls head...:) and a clueless ones. Anyway, thank you.

I am sure it has been very difficult for you to get past experience to see God working in your life. I must say, and not so eloquently, that He works wonders in the crappiest of situations....fertilizer makes things grow sooooooooo much better, healthier and more beautiful than just plan dirt. :)
