When I was in eight grade I entered in a poetry contest. The winners got to have their poems published in the book; Celebrate! Young Poets Speak Out!
Well, yours truly, got hers published!
To be prove, I really did, here's the book.
The River's Edge
There is a place,
I like to go.
When all I want,
Is nothing to do.
I will walk down,
To that special place.
I will daydream,
And I will go off into that space.
I will think,
Of yesterday.
The river's edge,
I love so dearly.
I would bleed,
To keep it here yearly.
Even if my lovely stream,
Is just a dream.
But it will always be,
The river's edge
To someone like me.
