About the WGA Strike
I'm seeing a lot of people saying that when TV shows run out of new episodes and go into reruns in December/January, that they'll go and watch TV shows on dvd that they need to catch up with. Well, if people are going to use that as an alternative, what's to stop them from getting into international shows? More stuff from the BBC, more anime, etc.

Ok, so the writers are striking because they want royalties on DVD sales that they're not getting. If the strike drives DVD sales because people want to catch up on shows they've been missing since there's no new shows, wouldn't that be hilarious?
I would kind of take it as a personal blow if I wanted DVD royalties, went on strike and in so doing encouraged stronger DVD sales. Oh, those poor writers.
