RIght now we have a few members that arn't posting. Which pretty much defeats the purpose of the community.

Not only should we try to gain more members to get it really pumping. we should be contrubuting ourselves.

I was wondering if it would be cool to have excersises posted just so people can put stuff out there. Or discussion questions so we can all get to know eachother.

O god, I feel like a fuckin' camp counselor. But my requests are serious.

actually i was thinking about that as well. I think it is a good idea, i have seen it in other comms and it works well.

Seeing as how you suggested it would you be willing to help me out (probably become a co mod) in posting and coming up with them?

they will onkly work if the members participate and are posting though.

Yeah, I'd love to be co-mod.

Another suggestion i've seen played out in communities i am a part of is a post:critique ratio. It doesn't have to be striclty applied but by suggesting people do, say, two critiques for every piece they put up ensures people don't get overlooked who want help improving. It's really up to the other members though and what they want.

Um...unfortunately, I have to pull out for a while. I know I haven't been exactly active, actually I haven't been active at all. Sorry about that. I'm going through a move and I rarely have any time to do anything on eljay. I wil be back in about a week or two...when we're all settled in our new place.
