Affiliation: Trainer

Personality: The very first thing that someone might realize about Yuffie and depending on someone's perspective is her cheerful or sickening traits. Barely ever seen without a smile of some sort on her face, her energy is almost unmatched compared to her friends and teammates. Bouncing with energy and excitement she definitely comes off as the most friendly one of their group, being easily approachable and friendly to just about everyone. Of course, while being something of a people person is definitely useful, it's not exactly entertaining. Which is also why Yuffie's got a mischievous and schemer style as her form of 'entertainment' up her sleeve. Although she's not rash enough to do anything (she'll keep away from the super dangerous stuff thanks), there's no harm in a little prank or joke being tossed around in Yuffie's books, an example being to call Leon by his real name, knowing full well that he doesn't like being referred to like that. The mischievous and teasing streak in her could also be a product of another trait, that being of her confidence. While not always and entirely brimming with pride 24/7, the girl has no issues referring and introducing herself as "The Great Ninja Yuffie" to others or to be confident in battle with her skills. Not that there's anything wrong with that necessarily, as she can battle with the best of them and doesn't gloat too much when she wins or is a sore loser when she fails to get victory. She's not over the top and boastful about herself. The girl is fully aware that other people around her matter just as much, and maybe even more given that they all have different strengths.

But life isn't all fun and games now, is it? In losing her home world at such an early age compared to the rest of her friends, the loss of Radiant Garden hasn't changed her as much as it's molded her into the teenager she is. Having a desire and a goal to achieve, that of rebuilding their home to its former splendor, has made Yuffie very determined and hard working in whatever she does, including training to keep up her skills in battling the Heartless. She's not exactly one to laze around, just as much as she's not one to stop smiling or moving around with excitement. Unfortunately, at the topic of losing her home, it's a very tender subject. One that is easily masked by her positive nature and perhaps helped in defining it. Having been so young, she can't exactly remember everything  that's happened, and losing her biological family is a hurtful blow, and a subject that she'd best avoid. And having your home stolen away can lead to some pretty powerful emotions, as Yuffie is shown to be quite serious under the topic of Heartless. It might be said that she holds a long standing grudge with the creatures, as anyone would be angry, but it doesn't seem like Yuffie is capable of normally getting extremely angry with someone. At least nothing serious in that regard.

Strengths: Yuffie's most obvious strength is her cheerful disposition and zeal for just about everything. While this might not be a very useful trait, considering her past and that she lost her home at a very young age, it's rather impressive to find someone with boundless energy having a troubled past like that. For physical traits, she's quick and light on her feet, knowing acrobatic skills and able to leap backwards safely out of the way. She also very prominent in concealed weapons, wielding only short kunai and miniature shurikens in addition to the larger normal version she carries. Finally, as someone who strives to rebuild her lost home, Yuffie's very goal-oriented, driven, hardworking and determined in her actions.

Weaknesses: High energy levels can come at a pretty hefty cost and Yuffie can wear out fairly easily and quickly. She's not frail, but the girl is not built for endurance like her teammate Leon, and can't last for as long as he does in combat.  Personality-wise and considering that she's just about always cheerful and friendly, when something gets her down or depressed it's pretty bad.

Finally her personality and confidence can probably be grating to some kinds of people, who might see her as nothing more than a hyperactive, silly brat.

First Person Sample:

Yo! Hey network people! Been a while since I said anything huh? Well, I uh... got a pretty important question for you all. [And here comes one of Yuffie's trademark confident smiles.]

So I've heard from a particular grumpy lion and his weird overgrown metal chicken that there's something like Gyms around? I didn't exactly think that that was my type of thing, cause pumping iron? Yeah, that's not exactly how I would spend my afternoons and all. But apparently it's for Pokémon and the closest one is in Violet to soooooo...

Heh, how about you all share with the class, okay? Tell me things. What to look out for. How strong should I be. Umm, if something like a Pichu would help or something. [Glances down and around herself, clearly looking for her partner and mumbling more to herself than the Gear in hand.] She's so tiny and nervous and I don't want to give her a heart attack throwing her in like that.

[A sigh while Yuffie disappears for one minute only to reappear the next, Pichu scooped up in the crook of her arm, ears drooping forward and looking nervously into the feed.] So that'll be all from me for now. And next time you see me, the Great Ninja will have one shiny, spiffy badge to her name!

See ya!

Third Person Sample:

Yuffie was bored. Clearly and utterly bored. Huddled up in a tent, let alone one that leaked from her so called mother, wasn't exactly what Yuffie had planned for the day. But it was hard  to keep going with the fat droplets pounding against the ground and the thin fabric of the tent.

"Rain? REALLY?! Ugh, just our luck. This is going to make us so late!" She stared out of the entrance to the tent, a look of complete discontent while resting her chin on the balls of her hand. It might have looked like no one else was in there with her, but sitting off to the side, half hiding beside the girl's pack was her Pichu. The nervous little thing wasn't taking the storm too well, and as usual was causing her ears to droop forward out of nerves, which Yuffie was beginning to wonder if it was normal for them or something, or if the entire species was just as skittish.

It probably didn't help either Yuffie's curiousity and boredom or Pichu's fright when a large crack of thunder came, and the mouse let out a squeal only to scurry and cling to the pack even more. Yuffie didn't blame her, the ninja herself was jolted awake for a moment, but geez, did her Pokémon have to be scared of a little bit of thunder? She had the ability to shoot out sparks from her own cheeks.

Lifting her head and putting down her arm, Yuffie heaved a huge sigh, and got on her hands and knees to approach the little Pichu, not really paying close attention to the shining pink cheeks. It really would be a restless night if she couldn't get her Pokémon to calm down. Unfortunately as she brought a hand closer, one of the sparks flared out and zapped her fingers, making the human pull back and shake her hand in the air to get rid of the sensation. That... yeah, Yuffie had to admit that was a bit stupid, but it wouldn't stop her really. The poor thing needed to calm down so she wouldn't fry the tent or Yuffie with all the water around.

So the girl got up and used that great ninja sense to scuttle around behind the mouse, stroking her head softly and trying to avoid those stray sparks from her face. "Hey now. You shouldn't be so scared. It's just thunder and yeah it's loud and noisy, but it's not really going to hurt you you know."  The sparks were slowly dying down, little by little, as Yuffie pet her. Usually the girl was the cheery one, but calming down creatures and others was more of Aerith's thing. But the fact that those cheeks were stopping their glow had to be a good thing right? She wasn't screwing this trainer thing up yet!

There was an inward sigh and an outward chuckle when the last of the sparks were gone. The petting turned into a firm pat on the head, and the Pichu looked back at her trainer for it. Giving her one of Yuffie's trademark strong smiles, the girl picked the Pichu up, with the little mouse wiggling around in her arms a bit as she was lifted above the girl's head. "See? It's not so scary. You'd think that you wouldn't be scared by it since you can shoot out lightning and all."

"P-Pii?" She didn't look convinced all that much, and still nervous when Yuffie brought her into her arms and plunked herself down on the tent's floor.

"It'll be okay. We're nearly at the next town and you'll get the chance to meet Leon and Aerith in person too! It'll be fun, and I'm pretty sure she'll find you adorable." The fear wasn't completely gone from the Pichu's face, but she was starting to relax more, sinking into her trainer's arms happily. "Just might want to stay from his giant Skar-bird. She might find you looking rather appetizing."

"PIIIIII?!?!?!"
