last night: what an experience...yeah, coming down sucked, but it opened my eyes to what was inside me and made it possible for me to put it into words. who knew that was there? insight is nice in this situation. i feel kinda nostagic today, but i am relieved to know that i still feel how i did last night, and that it wasnt purely the substance... on the way home from matt's i was jamming to ashlee and was singing along to a song ive sang over and over and never thought about... its kinda freaky how much it goes along with the situation and especially today: it was a crazy, f-uped day, that sucked for 98% of it, but that 2% of chill made it worth it. here's the song ( Read more... )

i've always loved the idea of making music. singing is one thing b/c yes, it is something you can work at and improve on, but for the most part, it is a God-given talent. so i've been slowly learning to play guitar, i get so frustrated, but its awesome nonetheless, because i really feel like the whole 'making music' idea is being accomplished.
