* 2/3 cup butter flavored shortening
* 2/3 cup butter, softened
* 1 cup white sugar
* 1 cup packed light brown sugar
* 2 eggs
* 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
* 3 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
* 1 teaspoon baking soda
* 1 teaspoon salt
* 2 cups semisweet chocolate chips

"Mii, let's go to the store and get some!" Rika said cheerfully as she smiled at Rena. "There's probably a bunch of chocolate chips in the store!" She grabbed Rena's hand as they proceeded out the door, into the busy streets of Melanore.

"Hau...we should hurry! Rena wants to make the cookies quickly and eat them!" Rena started to walk faster, making sure to dodge the citizens of Melanore as they made their way towards the candy story. "This is it!" Rena went inside the store, dragging Rika along.

"Hmmm...where could it be?" Rena looked around. Then something caught her eye. It was a chocolate bunny! "Haaauuuu!" Rena ran over and started oogling at it. "So cute! So cute! Rena wants to take it home!"

"Mii...Rena-san, don't get distracted! We have to get the chocolate chips to make cookies!" Rika grabbed Rena's arm and started to pull impatiently. When Rena saw something cute, she wouldn't stop hovering over it. This will be a challenge, trying to get Rena-san away from the bunny.

"But Rika-chan! It's so cute! Hau!" Rena was practically drooling over the bunny. She just wanted to take it home! "The chocolate chips can wait! Rena wants to take the bunny home!" She cried happily.
