I use this because if not for my friendslist, I simply wouldn't blog. My life doesn't interest ME.
But Blogger rocks. If you have hosting, and some cash, MovableType rocks too. There's always coding your own custom blogging system, too, or hacking the heck out of someone elses.
Some cash?! rofl. No, I don't. You can have friends on xanga. And they give you a bunch of storage space for images and stuff now too. And they show a picture of your now playing. And the comments are easier to read and give.
The existing community I have on LJ has no desire to move to another system, though. I must admit, though, I'll hafta check into Xanga's hosting parts. In the end, though, if I keep blogging, I'll probably host my own, and for facilitating that effectively, nothin I've seen beats blogger so far...
