Ok dude. I looked up the bus schedules, and here's what will happen ideally:

I'll arrive in Shannon at 6am on the 23'rd. I'll take the 7:15am bus to Cork. It should arrive there at 10:20am. If there are any problems, there's a 8am bus as well.

My flight on the 28'th leaves at 1:15pm. Being paranoid, I want to get there plenty early. So I'll take either the 7:15am bus or the 8:25am bus to the airport. Then I'll get there at either 10:20am or 11:20am.

It says it's 15 Euros each way, and I'll have to change buses in Limerick both ways.

Does this sound good to you? Do you think I should get my tickets online or at the desk in the airport?

And is someone going to pick me up at the bus station, or should I take a taxi from there to the university?

Um...I think the tickets might be a twinge cheaper online, but I'd get them at the desk, much easier. The desk is RIGHT THERE when you come down the stairs after going through security/immigration.

And, I'm almost positive you DON'T have to change busses in Limerick. It'll stop in Limerick and sit in the station for a while on a break and a bunch of ppl get on and a bunch get off. But our bus continued right on to Cork. And so did everyone elses I've talked to. So unless they've changed it since Sept.... and if you do end up changing in Limerick, it's no big thing. The station wasn't that big, you shouldn't have any trouble.

OF COURSE I'll pick you up at the bus station!! And I don't actually live at the University, I live in an Apt. building in town called Leeside Apartments, Bachelors Quay, Cork. I've heard that they sometimes ask you where you're staying when you go places at immigration, so you should right that down. Apartment 5.
