Book seven title? I'm sorta sad that it's out. And thought I'd be more excited, but all I can really think is how many fanfics will there be in the next months with the exact same title?

Meh.

It really was! I'd heard before that it wasn't very similar to the book, but thought that didn't mean it couldn't be good on it's own. After all, the trailer looked fine.

The first minutes were ok, and then everything went crappy with the apprearance of The Big Blue Pill.

Have you read the book? But I don't even know if that makes a difference. I saw it with two girls, one of whom had read the book and one who hadn't and we could all agree it was horrible.

There's nothing at all similar to the book, and what there is is a choppy, wannabe-but-spectacularly-failing imitation of LOTR.

The only saving grace was the dragon.

And trust me, it takes a lot to make me this dissapointed in a film based on a book. :/

Eragon the movie was so so crap. I am only glad that I got to watch it for free. I am not a big fan of the book anyway, so I had little hope for the movie.

What I liked about the book was how I could read parts aloud and ask which part of LOTR it reminded people of. Fun. ^_^

But the movie really was so so crappy.

LOL! That is exactly what I was doing with the book. Nearly every name of a person or place could be connect in some way to LOTRS!

Ed bloody Spleers, or however you spell it, was absolutely useless. Everytime the dragon spoke to him he would pull this really concentrated look which made him look constipated!

Roran only lasted five seconds in the beginning, yet they tried to convey how close they were by having a little play fight and then have Eragon do that classic looking off in the distance thing after Roran had left, which just made Ed's face look weird!

Good to know that it sucks. I was considering going with the husband to see it before Christmas, but if it's crap then I won't bother. Princess Bride, now that sounds nice.
