I know what you mean. I had only met him in passing until I did some bartending at the last OmegaCon and was really looking forward to hanging with him (them) some more.
I think we should all go and have a great time, regardless of where he is at with his sickness. I think that's the best way to honor his spirit and attitude. I'm sure he's giving the Tumor Gods a big "Fuck you!" and fighting on and we should too!
Still, it will be hard not to notice their absence, which they will be I'm sure; regardless of how well the treatments are going or not.

At the same time, it yet again points out how short life is and how we need to grab hold of the fun times when we can.
We can cross our fingers for good future news, amazing things do happen every now and then.
