(Also, SPOILER, five bucks says they figure out a way in-story to reattach his head pretty quickly. Although I feel like it would be hilarious and totally worth it if the solution was some duct tape and twine and loose wiring CGI'd in.)

As for David getting head and body back together? The film shows Shaw taking David's body along with her. Considering she's likely to get bored, why not assume she does the repair? What else is she going to do? [Plus, the thought makes me squee happily and think of doing slash fic ^_^]
