Here's the transcript of her comments from the closed captions. Obviously anything that was silent is not in the closed captions.

I'm hearing now that what got "censored" was actual wolf whistles and her replying, "Jesus." Huh.

Oh God, the message to her mother is the most heartbreaking thing I'm gonna read all week.

Maybe you were remembering Dunham's blatant racism and serial killer jokes?

Your fashion commentary always cracks me up.

Some critics/audience members expressed frustration over the lack of diversity and representation in Girls, and she and some of her friends reacted really unprofessionally, as I recall all over twitter. (I believe, though this might have been one of her friends, it included the lovely 'I really don't give a shit' about representation in media.) I could dig up receipts, but it was kind of a sprawling, ongoing mess if I'm remembering right. Or some sample Lena Dunham quotes about Japan for your viewing delectation. And this. There was also a really unsavoury twitter joke about an incredibly tragic and awful serial killer case recent enough that people who were personally affected by the tragedy heard about and were distressed by it. (Trigger warning for rape, incestuous rape, and the obvious murder.)

In general she's very thoughtless and privileged, has a 'cruel and shocking makes cool and funny' point of view, and lashes out and derides people who call her on it or are upset by her.

well if I have to choose the lesser of two evils, I'll pick Sacha Baron Cohen every day of the week over Dick Gervais - at least SBC level of offensive humor borderlines on the ridiculous/absurd and is capable on saying non-offensive thing once in a while; as opposed to Gervais who just likes to piss people off and is incapable of having an entire conversation without mocking someone.

Robert Downey Jr speech was such dorky-adoring fun thing. (the Hamster bit!)
(also I know Mel Gibson has had a real bad rep on these last few years but the way he kept smiling BFF fondly at Foster made go D'awwwwwww.

Foster's speech was very sweet and heartfelt but it left me very confused on what was what.
