I saw Hansel and Gretel: Witchhunters today and I swear I had repeated flashbacks to Van Helsing. Told my roommate we're going to watch Van Helsing again this week, and then read the m15m version after. XD

Also, as an X-Files fan, it warms my heart that he thanks writer Vince Gilligan at such length.
Oh man, same. Vince was my favorite writer on that show (close runner up goes to Darin Morgan, obviously), and he's the whole reason I started watching Breaking Bad. I ended up on a set visit a couple years ago out in New Mexico, and Cranston will gush about Vince to anyone (everyone on that cast is amazingly lovely, holy cow), and it is ADORABLE.

The BAFTAs haven't happened yet, they're in a couple of weeks - and Day-Lewis will probably win in an attempt to prove that we're Important to the Oscars. Though, having not seen Lincoln yet, I'm secretly rooting for Jackman to steal it...
