I still don't understand exactly when Shit Goes Down (that is, the scene where Will sees the Wound Man illustration, and then... yeah) in their three-season pre-Red Dragon plan, but then, I'm trying not to find out a whole lot anyway.
Yeah, I had no idea--I was imagining the second season leading up to the moment Will realizes as a finale, and maybe they've had problems leading up to that through season 2 so there's enough disenchantment that he's able to See Him For What He Really Is, etc. I mean, in the book, I think Will's in the middle of calling for backup when it happens, so they catch Hannibal pretty quickly--which, of course, the show could do differently, draw it out, etc. Now, I think the fourth season is definitely Red Dragon, they said. The third season's the one I can't figure out.
I kind of don't want all that to happen as soon as this season's finale, but I'm also kind of really looking forward to it now? I obviously have severely mixed emotions about this entire endeavor.
